Upcoming workshops at Creative Genius

Today's post is all about getting out and trying something new. We specialize in helping our clients get creative and learn something they have always wanted to learn. And our schedule is pretty full of exciting February activities you won't want to miss...

PRECIOUS METAL CLAY WORKSHOP
Coming up on Feb 12th from 2-5pm, this workshop is a great way to learn the basics of working with Precious Metal Clay. This clay like substance becomes pure silver (99.5% pure silver) once it is fired. It is a popular material for making jewelry.


ART OF SPIRALS JEWELRY WORKSHOP
Feb 19th from 12-2pm
Learn beginner wire-working techniques using some simple tools and your own creativity.













STAINED GLASS PANEL FOR BEGINNERS
Feb 26th from 9am-1pm
Create an 8x10 inch panel while learning basic beginner stained glass techniques.




FIGURE DRAWING WORKSHOP
Feb 22nd from 6:30-8:30pm
With instruction and a live figure model, complete some basic drawing exercises utilizing charcoal. Supply list provided at registration. Model fees included with workshop.

New! Drop-in Saturday Workshop Day...coming to Creative Genius!



Finally!


Beginning September 12th, 2009, Drop-in Studio Saturdays begin at Creative Genius between 11am and 3pm every Satruday...head on over to Creative Genius and choose one of the cool projects off our craft menu and start creating. Instruction, materials, firings, etc is included for each project. Projects range in price from $ 20-$ 35 per project per person and are geared towards small children, children, teens and adults. There are many specific projects in clay (hand-building only), polymer clay, and other assorted mediums. We continually adding to the menu and think this will be a fun way to spend a Saturday in fall and winter...We will have photo samples of all our projects soon but for now, here is a small sampling...more to follow...
